The Off-Road Shrine Club was chartered on January 17, 2007.
This is a family oriented club that has many different activities. Some involve off-road adventures but many do not.
Our members are not required to participate in off-road adventures.
The club participates in parades as well as the
various activities sponsored or promoted by Za-Ga-Zig Shrine.
The only requirement for membership, other than being
a member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, is that you have a vehicle that is designed for off-road use. Such as, but not limited to: 4
wheel ATVs, dirt bikes, rock crawlers, 4 wheel drive trucks and SUVs.
Our meetings are held on the first Monday of
each month at 7:00 p.m. at Za-Ga-Zig Shrine Center 1100 Shriners Parkway in Altoona, Iowa.
We are currently working
with the Iowa OHV
(Off Highway Vehicle) Association to establish an OHV Park in Central Iowa.
